So I started singing A, B, C to my baby even in the delivery room. Ok, its a pretty flexible delivery room as Tomomi got a Japanese midwife clinic with a friendly doctor who would deliver the baby naturally without the use of knives and anaesthetic and not be unnecessarily strict on us expressing our love to the baby. And that gave me a lot of opportunity to leave a good first impression on Haruka. Hope the first impression stays for many years to come. Besides, it may leave the baby a joy and desire to hear sounds and music. Will blog if all these tips do improve my relationship with my children and their developments.
This blog will list tips of being a daddy and a parent. My observations of what counts to make your child beautiful inside and out. And yes, a daddy plays a big role in making life beautiful for children in this world. Documenting the past and dreams for the future for my children is the foundation of success for parenting.

Tip 3: Start singing on the first day
To add to Tip 1 to greet your baby upon entry into the world, I would add that babies can hear songs sung by the daddy and will remember them. The babies upon entering into the world are so curious about their surroundings. As their senses of touch, taste and smell are not so refined yet to detect their new surroundings accurately, its their sense of hearing that's most optimal to recognize daddy and mummy. Smell would define mummy most due to breastfeeding but the daddy need to leave his deep voice to be imprinted on the baby's memory.
