Tip 13: Wash your hands before you touch the baby!

This sounds more like a threat rather than a tip. And you guessed it right that its not from me, but my loving wife. If daddy does not wash his hands when coming back from outside the home each day, he can not touch the baby or he can not come in. Its true that sanitation is important and ever more so for a newborn baby. Besides, a child picks up bad habits from daddy and mummy and its a bad habit to not wash your hands before touching other apparels in the home. Or is it? Ok, it is according to handbook of the new Tomomi Lee family. But better clean than never.

I am surely not the perfect daddy and it gives me the shivers that my child will now be picking after any good or bad habits from me. Probably more bad habits from the eyes of my wife. So, its time to buck up and exercise self control and steer clear of those bad habits ... what have you ... digging the nose without a tissue, not washing hands ... oh its a long list. Better polish up my act so I can blog about it next time without too much embarassment. So I was proud to come home from work and did not forget to go straight to wash my hands without touching any apparels yet. Came out with hands that were just towel dried and ready to embrace my darling baby Haruka. "Did you wash it with soap?!". "Oh no, madam. Right away!"
